Iam sitting here with a British friend who has a great eye for detail,,he said the same thing as Scott,,, I thought it might have been the angle of the photo. I agree that that is not the same reverse

You can get all the pictures you want or that they are willing to send. The end result is that they are both bad.

The PAB is for sure no good. It is a design I have seen many many times, usually hollow with a frosted finish, sometimes marked L/56, L/61..........part of the "Paris batch" I call them.

          Hi Guys,

I would agree on the PAB , wouldn't touch it with a pole. Chances are that somebody made a bad copy of the Blob fake.

Not so sure if the IAB is bad. Untill now I have never encountered a good copy of the variant type of hinge this badge is featuring.

What´s wrong with the SH.u.Co IAB then if i may ask?
            Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

From those pictures i can't see anything wrong with the IAB.
              Best regards, Andreas

I also am of the opinion that the PAB is a bad fake and that there is nothing wrong with the IAB.

There was also another new, bad PAB fake that I saw first time in Stuttgart. Basically the S&L design with a bogus scooped reverse and L/.. markings that did not make sense.
                Cheers, Frank

                  Dear Frank,

What you saw most likely was this thing.

Never saw anything like it before and all of a sudden these ugly things both unmarked and bearing an L/16mm (you don't think these guys read the WAF threads on the S&L PAB's?) are all over the place. Most of the time they look so old that you would swear they were made long before uncle Adolf came to power

                          Dear Philippe,

Yes, that L/16 is one of those I saw at Stuttgart. Actually Skip pointed them out to me at a table that I would not even have scrutinized any further because everything was very cheaply made total crap.
                          Cheers, Frank

The IAB looks fine to me as well other then the sort of strange finish on the reverese. Little orange looking in spots but probably just the light.
