A PAB that been through a lot - request for opinions

    Hello all!

I present photos of this PAB which looks to be in a very well-worn condition.
Comments about originality, features and manufacturer are welcome.
If original, would like to hear value.
    best,

    Vadim.

        Vadim,
As Scott has pointed out this type of badge has been discussed many times in the past. Do a search for "AWS 1942" and read it all. As for your piece I belive it to be bad.

Thanks all. Any specific comment or link other then "I think it's a fake" (not that I do not trust all respected members, but i'm after constructive opinions, that's all) will be useful, since i've been digging the forums for an hour now, and found no similar examples in the fake GABs topic.

The catch is not crimped in as one would expect to find on an original.

This indeed is a rather aged variant of the cutter fake. These badge are easy to recongnize by the sharp excess material left in the cut-out. A piece of such material is clearly visible on the top side of the gun of this badge (cfr. second pic).

I see what you mean Philippe, thank you very much for that.
