Well, I waited over a month for this moment and finally.......on the day I must pack up my collection it has arrived! I know of only two others, one belonging to Ak and the other Philippe picked up this weekend. A beautiful bronze zinc Porsche! In a race between the two who do you think would win? I think it is time for me to buy an owners hat and retire all together . Here he is!

Well when we look at the PAB only very very few Buntmetall badges exist. With the IAB I can only imagin that they switch directly from NS to zinc. But then again you just never now if there might not be the odd Buntmetall example arround. Massive zinc Porsches are rare as hell alltogether so also in this case they maybe never bothered with making such an IAB variant.
On the other hand when you look at what we think is the Porsche GAB (Franks type 1.23) these exist as Zinc & Kupal hollow and as a massive version but we have never seen BM or NS variants.
I think we just have to be patient. In this hobby you just never know what's still hidding in the dark

I would love to see any period documentation that the Porsche concern made Third Reich badges. In fact, my friend, who is a Porsche dealer asked who would make this atatement on a public forum. I pointed him to this thread. He was very upset, as was his distributor. Perhaps Porsche will post to somehow rectify this unfortunate smear on their company.
