        Hi David.....

.....I'm trying to repost image #2 as a JPEG so that we can readily discuss it. It seems as if there is a faint maker-mark beneath the maker-mark. I'm curious as to what the consesus of this is. Hope you don't mind.

            This has been...

... run through Manion's at least 3 times now. They keep dropping the price. I have a problem with the double-strike of the Maker mark, it's very common with the fake Imperial Badges, I don't like the tooling marks on the badge back either. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm certainly not the expert in this are, but I've owned enough Juncker pieces to not want one like this.

              Hi Bruce,

The faint maker's mark also looks like the firmly stamped fake maker's mark.

              Regards

                            Hi David ...

We're all on the learning journey here and have gone through similar experiences ... stick with it! Try and learn about the peculiarities / characteristics of each maker Here's a gold Juncker Recon clasp pic for your comparison.

                            Regards
