There appears to be a bit on the reverse as well as the swastika. Perhaps it is caked on dirt. Hard to tell from the picture.

Funny thing about that I was carrying around a jar of vas in my jacket and my ex seen it,,she was kind of freaked out lol,,It was for emergeny flea market finds (badges of course)

Actually I beleive he meant B.H.Mayer. According to the Great Book of GABs Mayer used the hinge type shown on this PAB (p144). Would they not also use the same style hinge on thier PAB?

I think it is not the BH Mayer hinge on page 144 you refer to. It does not have angle cuts, only the 90******176; feet. In my opinion a typical F&R hinge.

I tend to agree with Frank for the simple reason that this badge features the classic warp around instead of the directly soldered on hinge. That type of hinge is identical to the once F&R used on their massive zinkers.
