    CCCs- full set at last!

Finally got 3 that I am happy with. Let me know what you think.

The bronze is an AGmuK with very thick finish and blued backplate and pretty much mint.
The silver is unmarked and quite unusual as it has a kind of subdued finish. There has been a black laquer applied over the silver plating to pick out the detail and 2 drops are visible on the fluted pin.
The gold is an F&BL with a repair to the pin but I believe the finish to be original after posting it for discussion.

    Best regards

    Patrick

        Hi Patrick

May I be the first to say.... I hate you Looking foreward to the day I get my gold one as well. Last time I was a second away from getting the one Frank H. had on the e-stand

Congrats on a work well done - I know exactly how you must feel.

        Cheers Thomas

Great set. Congrats Patrick. Must say, all I have is a lowly worn bronze

                Hi Patrick,

Great set indeed, a must have for any serious collector of 3rd reich combat awards. Those AGMuKs have just great detail, don't they?

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Wow, what a nice set I gave up on finding a gold one and I got rid of my bronze and one of my silver ones. I still have a silver one that I am saving. I just love the CCC award and can't stand to get rid of it. You really have something to be proud of there. Do you plan to frame them for display, perhaps with some period photographs of CCC's in wear?

                        Hi Guys,

Thanks very much for the kind words, I am really happy with this group, its taken a long time to find the gold! ( Thank you Dave-B!)

@Tom- The AGMuK is fantastic quality for such a late badge. I'm not suprised that they get mistaken for tomback due to the qulaity of the detail and finish.

@ EKman- they will be displayed in a lined box that a friend made for me alongside my other army badges. The photo idea sounds great though I will look into it!

@Erik- I'm sure it won't take long for you. Not everyones got a Heer Flak at your age! Congrats.

                        Best to all

                        Patrick
