    Clarification on IAB award criteria

I was hoping whether someone could clarify if 3 entried close combat days on a combat record automatically qualifed a soldier for the IAB in silver. Any help or thoughts, greatly appreciated.

Dylan, Close Combat Days were for the Nahkampfspangen, not the IAB. The requirement for the IAB was 3 assaults on three different days that led to defeating the enemy and siezing the objective.

Sorry for the confusion - I was suggesting that, theoretically, 3 close combat days could also count "[for] three different days that led to defeating the enemy and seizing the objective" if the fighting was "hand-to hand" combat by an infantryman?

Nope, they would count for only one award.
