    F&R or BH Mayer?

I thought this GAB was an F&R when I bought it but now I'm not sure.

      Dear Don,

Side pics of hinge and catch would help, also any info on whether the catch is repaired/replaced? Seems that way.
      Cheers, Frank

                      Dear Don,

Not sure if that catch is original to the badge, if it is, it is a bit unusual. The hinge does not contradict your Frank & Reif theory at all, so why do you have doubts?
                      Cheers, Frank

The catch is what really threw me. At first I didn't doubt anything and then I broke out the book. If the catch is repaired it is really well done and certainly been that way for a while.
