    Odd RS IAB

Hi all, been out at the flea markets this morning and one of the things I picked up was this RS IAB. Standard run of the mill IAB except for the catch, it is the same type seen on the S&L IAB's and PAB's as well as the "Junker" PAB. I would like to hear your opinions on it..I'm up in the air as to whether its a replacement or not as it seems pretty clean.

I have seen this type on RS destroyers. Actually soldered onto a guide area that is made to accept a round base.

        Hi Greg,

John is correct ofcourse. This is an accepted variant catch used by RS an mostly found on the IAB and some KM badges.

Thanks guys......I did a search today and did find one other like it. I'll have to take some time and go through the KM forum.....I'll hold on to it, as it's kind of interesting...a bit of an oddball. Are they common variants in the KM world?
