Salty PAB for your inspection. Rare Maker?

    Hello-

I ran across this PAB with a strange maker mark that I wanted to ask your opinions on. The condition is obviously not what I would like to see, but I seldom find these items so I'm thinking of making an offer and could use some assistance in ascertaining its originality as well as the maker background. It is a vet purchase.

Is it worth picking this piece up?

    Thanks everyone..

    Alex

Can you give us a blow up of the mark?

Sorry, I was still posting, here is a rubbing of the mark as it is hard to read. Thanks!

Nothing special there. This is a common maker.

Not quite what I was hoping for, Don

but I take it you think it is a legit item?

Any further info you can share with me about such a piece?

He is offering me this item and a salty eastern front medal w/o ribbon for $80. Is that too much?

                Thanks!

Too common of an award to waste buying a salty one unless that is what you are in to.

                      Alex,

Type "Frank & Reif PAB" into the searchbox and you will see what they look like in good condition. No way you would still want that one.
                      Cheers, Frank

Thanks, very helpful. I'll look it up and save my money for a better day.
