Frank & Reif Marked and Unmarked

    Hi Guys

Now that I have you PAB guys in this thread , I think a couple of these would compliment your PAB collections. Looks like similar hardware used on both PABs and IABs.

Anyway here are two of my new additions. You can plainly see these are both F&R.
Interesting to see the same hinge and catch guides are on both badges.

    Hope you like them

    regards

    Graeme

            Robert,

No.....The treasures gone to pay for all the badges

By the way the above two are both silver, it's just the marked badge appears to be going a bit darker after I treated it with vasoline....

cheers guys...off fly fishing now with Spike Jones so we will be fishing and talking badges all day.... you can't beat that !!

            regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

This F&R marked IAB is so rare.......well done. I almost can't believe what I have seen. A very nice Christmas image gift to me.

                  Graeme:

What a superb pair of F&R IABs. These will be great additions to your collection.

I'm still searching for a maker marked example. These are tough to find in any condition.

Hope you enjoyed the great outdoors.

                        Hi Graeme,

Well IMO you have a "real" couple, the left one for me was/Is a bronze grade.

The very dark tone is typical for late F&R badges and on top of that the hardware also is the color you expect to see on a bronze grade. Compare your hardware with the one on this Silver grade that also lost most of it's finish. I think you agree with me that this is completely different.

                          Hello

a nice couple. The silver one is a real beauty

For me the unmarked F&Rs are harder to find than the mm ones. Or lets say I have some mm F&Rs an NO unmarked F&R.

                          Here some examples:
