        Den, maybe you can find a last name starting with "W" in a city which starts with an "E."
        First name has to be "E" as well. Egon, Erwin, Ehrhard, Emil, Ernst, Eduard, Eberhard, Elmar are typical cadidates for the era. This way we could find out what EWE stands for ( it is an abbrevation)

              Do you really think I would have offered my priced badges if I still would be in doubt that Wernstein is NOT ******220;******220;?

              Please also keep in mind that E-W-E might not be
              first name-last name-city. It can also be:
              first name-middle name (Wilhelm?)-last name. And of course, it can be a last name all by itself: "Ewe."

                No luck so far on EWE but I keep looking for a link, i'm still missing book 1 and that also contains alot of orden und abzeichen makers, found a few nice others.
