Some real eye candy...75 GAB and PAB

    hello
sorry i havent posted anything for the war badge crowd in awhile...hope this makes me even
as many of you know i have been involved with a large estate buy for most of this year...i have received a 25 and 50 GAB which went to old members of the forum..also received 2 25 numbered panzer and a number 50 panzer...
the crem de la crem though are these two numbered 75 badges...i believe both are legit..the panzer is text book the GAB a bit less so but imo very believable....i will be bringing these to the SOS...if anybody wants to talk about them drop me a line....
the panzer weighes just over 35 grams...the GAB 36.5....both are right on with the proper measurements....
    enjoy
    mike

this collection was accumalted in the late 1950's and early 1960's by an American servicemember who made many friends with the German population...most all of these badges were direct vet aquired pieces...he ended up marrying a German Gal...unfortunatley he has passed away/....as i am sure he wouldhave some great stories for us....i am also looking at receiving some original research concerning a number of badges that this individual got direct from makers of war badges during this time...including some interesting revelations on Juncker letterhead!....
                    i will keep you posted...
