Looks like there might be a little of the silver finish in the maker mark to me...mostly on the letter L. and the / mark IMO.

          Guys,
Thanks to Mike, I received today his Daisy PAB in question for “checkup” and his flat back L/10 PAB. First, let me post my 4 pictures of “Daisy”. Please note that badge is covered in few spots with some sort of thick dust…

After taking these pictures measurements were only the formality:
“Daisy” in question: height: 59.15 mm x width: 40.75 mm and weight 20g
Good “Daisy”: height: 42.05 mm x width 60.85 mm and weight 29 g
In my opinion “Daisy” in question is casting made badge from light alloy, probably aluminum. I’m sorry Mike.
But here is the good news: your flat back PAB is absolutely original with original maker mark!

I’m 100% positive that we will read more about this cool L/10 PAB in Frank’s book!

                            Morning Robert,

Thanks for the additional pics. The mm for sure looks very convincing. Since we only ever saw one of these it's probably to early to state with certainty that Deschler indeed made flatbacks but we at least should keep this one in mind
