Half moon IAB

here is an unmarked IAB with a half moon catch plate, I am convinced that these are rare, well thats to say I have only found two in the past 5 years.
I would love to here from anyone on this

The IAB itself isn't uncommon but this earlier set-up is.

It is difficult to see from the pics, but are the hinge and catch plate sitting in a recess? Certainly looks like the hinge is.

They do Graeme and the recess follows the shape of the catch

Hi Ken and Philippe, I love this design. Nice mean lookimg eagle. I have seen these in what looks like solid buntmetal. Has anyone seen these in hollow-back? Would love to see pics if someone has one.
