                    That indeed is the same type of fake as the bronze one.

                    This one also has a feature I have never seen before on this series, Assmann type rivets

                      Yep, but better quality than the last one. Also a first for me those rivets. Catch mounted behind the number box is also unusual.

                        Could you e-mail me some examples of real ones with some description of what to look for? I'm trying to learn here and I'm curious that I seem to have run into a number of fakes that have not been seen previously. I presume these are obvious fakes, and no chance of them being unknown variations? Regards

                          Dear Alex,

                          These are known fakes just with unknown and new reverse setup details. fakers learn with us and improve/change their products occasionally. Just like a wartime manufacturer, their production evolution changes over the years.
