Hi lads, would appreciate your opinion on this and no I havn't just bought one at a flea market. Just got a 2003/2004 Nimmergut "Orden & Ehrenzeichen" medal catalogue/price guide and the book has a photo (both obverse & reverse of the anti partisan badge in gold with diamonds, every collectors dream addition to their collection. With over a 500 books in my collection this is the only photo reference I have ever seen on this award and wonder wether anyone out there has also got the same book and if this is a photo of a genuine piece or a "museum copy" Cant send attachments but if anyone wants a scan of the photo please send your mail and i'll oblige. Look forward to your comments. Regards Paul.

Rich,
Can't find much on the 'Blackened Swords' version. I know I have seen a color photo but can't remember where, if my life depended on it! Here are two images that shed a little light.
Regards,
Mark

Hey Rich,
the pic's you remember are in the book about the APB from Klaus Patzwall. There are pretty good colored pics from the version with the black sword and also good one's from the version with diamands. Unfortunatly I'm not able to post those pics, but could send it to you If you want to. Interesting is that Patzwall write in his book, that he don't believe in this special badge with diamands. He argued, that this badge was mentioned the first time by Klietmann in 1964. Klietmann has a notice in his records about a message from Mr. Napp, a former worker of the C.E.Juncker firm. He (Mr. Napp) said, that Juncker had produced 10 of this badges at the end of 1944 and that this badges were awarded too.
greetings Walle

I know of one badge like this, in a collection. Does anyone know if there is further information on the authenticity, or lack of same, on this type of Juncker APB with diamonds?
I know another pattern was dealt off at the MAX Show; the piece previously auctioned off by Mohawk Arms.

I don't know if there has been more discussions on this one lately. I didn't see the one at the MAX, who had it and do you have any pics you can post?
Regarding the example shown above, I think it is very suspect that the 800 proof mark is stamped into the pin and not the badge itself. Also, the text from Dodkins says the badge was "gilded tombak (brass)", so there shouldn't even been a proof mark on the badge. The Juncker inscription is also suspicious, as has been mentioned. If they were indeed made and awarded, I don't think the one above is one of them IMO.
