Type III GAB + mini

Hi guys,

Thought this was rather nice.

Picked up this buntmetal unknown maker Type III GAB (F. Heukemes classification) that came together with a mini.

To my surprise and excitement the mini clearly features the Type III GAB design.
Slightly out of center swas in combination with slim bayonet and grenade handles.

Luckely the mini isn't mm, if it was Frank could have started editing the second edition of the GAB book already

It looks to me like a buntmetal... This is way too cool! It is so hard to get these minis in combo with big brothers made by the same manufacturer...

Thanks Robert, you're right, I can now see the buntmetal peeking through - after my third cup of coffee my eyes are starting to focus

Congratulations Phillipe on a very nice pairing of GABs. Great score!!

I can see that keeping Frank's book (what a helpful reference) next to my computer while I am online is going to be a must in the days to come......it will save a lot of footsteps. Cross referencing my photo files with Frank's type classifications seems like a worthy project for the very near future as well.
