Yep, you are correct Don, also the same mistake with the catch. Where is the crimp?! However you have to admit that guys worked hard on the obverse of the badge, but they forgot about hardware details! What a losers!

just for a laugh, i held this badge up to some heat from a mini brazing torch..if real, never enough heat to do ANY damage whatsoever. this badge folded up like cheap suitcase within about 45 seconds. while not mostly lead, there was enough filler content to make up this badge that it would be hard enough to withstand force(to bend...) but not to be heated...

          I can imagine......

......the look you could get if you walked up to a guy's table at a show, handled oh say.......a panzer badge, then whipped out your little torch while politely asking him if you might have a go at testing his badge for lead content. Just to be sure of authenticity, of course.

The BAM is coming up this month...................

Robert you did a good job ....those pictures show the "details" as kurskss mentioned. However, if you can pick up a real good PAB....you will see what's the keeper. BTW, the recent fake PABs like Porsche PABs are pretty scary. Wurster PABs don't have that kind of brother....the eagle head of Wurster is different.
