    They indeed are both early buntmetall Wursters that had a very hard life.

    Both badges lost their original yellow/gold appearance. The very dark brown tone on the left one is a typical buntmetall discoloration you can find on grounddug badges. No idea what caused the right one to turn almost orange.

      Hello Dennis,

      You have a very impressive looking Panzer Assault Badge collection. I also like your latest addition to the collection. The G.B. 25 assault is an original badge in my opinion. I know the seller of this badge, and I have personally examined the piece. I am completely convinced of it's authenticity. If I had the money at the time, I would have bought the badge and it would have never gone up on the ebay auction. I'm really surprised the badge didn't sell for more. I would love to have just such a badge in my collection.

          Ivan, Here is the information on the Size and Weight.<o></o>

          Overall Height = 60.45 mm<o></o>

          Across wreath = 44.3 mm<o></o>

          Overall Width = 46.6 mm<o></o>

          Weight = 27 grams


          I know this is a close call. Thank you for all of the Help. Is it still a keeper ???
