                It appears to be a casting to me. Clearer pictures would be of great help. The pin looks too thin also. Lastly the hinge/catch isn't correct for this maker.

                  Well after checking this L61 with the one in my files there are indeed a few differences, I think you're right guys it's not a good one, sorry.

                        Sven, Chet and Hans are dead on. This one is a fake and a pretty bad one at that. But, on the up side I have never seen this one before and it would probably do some good posted in the Fakes section.

                        @Sven, that L/61 is a real Beauty .

                          And for the record, Darren was so kind to included the cast L/61 copy.

                          This is a typical seventhies lead based copy. It bends like a piece of butter but it always amazes me how good the obverse detailing on these casts can be. This one even developed a rather nice obverse patina.
