I have a chance to pick this up in trade. It looks great in person and shows signs of being sewn on a tunic. Please take a look and let me know what you think. If I decide to get it I will most likely put on the e-stand.

Blacklight it first; it looks nice but the bullion fakes are getting better.

Hi Terry,

The use of embroided badges was due to practical reasons, not aesthetical. I can't see any purpose for this badge, given the individual no longer was an active aviator. I know Detlev have both the bullion and machine-embroided in his book, but I still need more facts to buy this idea. As for your badge, the stitching of the leaves doesn't resemble any of the other LW cloth badges.
