    IAB......have a look

    Just in from the estand. Have a look and see what you think.

    I like it, but in some ways am just a bit apprehensive. Knowing that inhand inspection makes the difference I can honestly say that I am just a little uneasy, though in size matches up with a S & L attributed, unmarked, IAB that I have.

    Description: Seems to be late war zinc with a bright silver wash. Under the swaz at the left there is what looks like 'flashing.' The hinge is not tightly crimped around the pin(the little one that holds the attaching pin in place). The first leaf up from the rifle butt, on the right, is shaped rather unsymetrically.

    I still need to work on the clarity of the closeup images while using the scanner. I hope that these will do.
