Nice original RK GAB for me as well. Nice finish and nice details on these.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Hi Judas,

The following statement is very open to debate.
Qoute: "Original General Assault Badge by Rudolf Karneth or R. Kreisel in Gablonz/Sudetenland" end quote.

To date there has been no convincing evidence to support this theory. It is possible however, but yet unproven.
The issue is still unresolved as to the manufacturer of these and similar General Assault badges.
There is also speculation that this type of GAB was produced by a consortium of manufacturers.

                Hi Bruce,

I get your point. There is no absolute proof that these were made by Karneth or Kreisel, but it sure is a distinct possibility as far as I’m concerned. And if the maker is not RK, it must certainly be one of the Metall u. Kunststoff work cooperatives in Gablonz an der Neisse.

                Best regards,
                Tom
