Close Combat Clasp in Silver, FLL

Latest acquisition that came in! A great Close Combat Clasp (Nahkampfspange) in Silber by Friedrich Linden aus Lüdenscheid. With the help of Thomas Durante's great book on the CCC's, I think that I've been able to identify the type.

A type 2.4 with silver plating finish. The reverse has a crimped indented (full length) backplate with a fat bellied pin and a barrel hinge with a thick wire "C" catch.

Last photograph shows it with an AGMuK Bronze one.

Now all I need is to find one in gold with a similar finish.

Very nice addition! Lovely FLL in silver, with correct FLL backplate and even down to the characteristic bend in the pin makes this one textbook in every regard. You also nailed the exact variant perfectly, 2.4 is correct nice work!

Congrats on a beautiful pickup. Good luck with the gold search, they can be daunting but they are out there..

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Nice addition, still some good finish and bright look on that FLL in silver.
Good luck with the gold CCC, they are not easy to come by.
