An original for me as well, with nice gilded finish remaining and nice patina.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

          Hi,

yes, an original Ehrenblattspange. Could be a ground dug?

          Regards

Thank you all! Yes, this is a dug-out spange.

Very interesting and nice to see that this non-Klein spange came out of the ground!!!
              Kind regards,

This is a Klein clasp and not a Juncker.

I would say Juncker. Non polished swastika and the ribbon shape.

I don't agree. Look closer at the ribbon. Here is the comparison from the pinned thread. It's a two-piece Klein.

I agree with Giel that it would be great to find an example of a ground-dug, non-Klein clasp as I believe at least five EBS variants or makers existed. This, however, is not one.

Look closer at the swastika. In my opinion a give away.

I'm leaning toward Klein. On the swastika I see defects from the soil. My opinion

I also believe it to be a Klein made award.

I’m always fascinated by these ground-dug relics. Especially living here in the US, where there is no chance to find WWII battlefield relics in the ground. Was this found by you? We’re other items present with it, or was it on it’s own?
