RK GAB25, JFS GAB50 and PAB25 for Review

    Hello All,

I think the two GABs might be good, but, not sure of the unmarked PAB25. All comments are welcome.

    Thank you,

    Eric

            Eric,
The unmarked Grade II JFS panzer badge is in exceedingly nice condition.

Thanks Jeff, Chet and Chris for the positive comments. Are the GABs "typical" in condition, or can one expect to do better?

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the tank has been restored. Or was it not worn? Compared it with his own.

At the bottom, where the number 25 on one side is a silver wreath, on the other with black paint.

All originals and look fine to me, ever the tank on the PAB 25. I think it is just in really good condition, the wreath is also minty so it goes well with the tank appearance IMO.

The GAB 25 may have an issue with the catch, looks like it might have popped out of its crimped area.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Good, so good. I was confused by these moments.

Why the black paint on the wreath at the bottom? The wreath and tank are assembled separately for riveting. The digit is pressed 25 or 50

The wreath is fine. What you are seeing is shadow or some dark patina on that part of the wreath, no paint. Very common. Number box is also fine.
