PAB 25 & 50 just dropped off like that !

    Dear All,

I am just coming back to this forum after a long time. I am more a WW1 collector than a WW2... But I have just been presented these 2 badges coming from my neighborhood and not from the collection world. After some researches, they seem to be originals JFS ones ? what is your opinion ? I have red somewhere about magnetic or non-magnetic pin and hook. What does make the difference ?

    Thank you for your help....

Hi Pete, it is a tarnish. fairly common with some zinc badges. The zinc army para badge comes to mind as the silver eagle on these have usually turned a goldish color.
