    Hi Oleg,

    The manufacturer is Assmann from Lüdenscheid. The "4" you see has nothing to do with the Pk code "4" from Steinhauer & Lück but was actually the code to mark the mold the badge was made in.

    I think this example was repainted, causing some obverse details to vanish.

      It´s an Assmann as Giel says and I´ll agree that this one looks refinished.

          Hi Oleg,

          Nice original as the others have said. I am not sure about the refinishing, its possible as the finish seems a bit thicker than normal. But on the other hand the color looks correct to me so I am not sure.
