    can i get confirmation that this Assmann PAB is in CupAl and is the silver version?

    A cupal Assmann for me a well. Pity about the catch but regardless not an easy badge to come by.

      I can only agree, an original Assmann Cupal in SILVER. Too bad about the missing catch. Nice look to this one for sure.

        I love the obverse look of that badge. Great wear combined with a nice patina.
        A true warbird. Sad to see it’s missing the catch but it’s still a nice and sought after assmann pab in cupal.

            Thanks for the confirmation guys.

            I wondered why the reverse had so little oxidation/wear to the silver compared to the obverse. I thought maybe it had been attached to a tunic/wrap for a long time?

            Yeah, pity about the catch. Looks like it has been snapped, the base of it is still soldered to the badge i think.
