    Badge Preservation - Rechargable Dehumidifiers

These have been discussed before, so no great revelation. But for all interested, here is a product we ALL should use.

These are rechargable silica containers. They work well in the vault, the safe, the uniform closet, the display room.... anywhere. Pick the size canister on the square footage (meters OK too!!!) of the area you want to protect. When the little indicator turns pink, cook the container in the oven for a couple of hours. Now you are fully recharged. (NOTE *** I highly recommend doing this procedure when the lady of the house is not around - trust me on this one!)

I like the metal canister myself. I guess it looks more industrial.

What do the rest of you guys use?

The small one with perforated holes is what I use in my cabinet & it works great for absobing any moisture in the immediate vicinity. But since there is little or no air circulation inside the cabinet, several of these should be employed. They are also super to carry in your camera bag to protect expensive cameras & lens from moisture.
