i believe it is a Wurster. Badge looks good, my only issue is the catch look to low. The reason for this is possible a repair. Hollow badges some are early on in the war and command a higher price than solid. There also are some fakes around so one has to be carefull

Hi John before anything else I really appreciate your input but in my opinion it is a textbook FLL very early hollow and very sought after

As far as I know Wurster only produced hollow in buntmetal the one posted is in zinc

Hi Jiga, I don't have any detailed books on these badges. I was just matching your badge to my data base of PAB's. I still don't own a hollow PAB yet, nice ones are hard to find and expensive. If you say it is FLL, I will stand corrected on my opinion. Very nice badge to add to your collection.

Hi Juan, very nice original FLL PAB. Quite a hard variant to find as a hollow back, I would say 90% are the later war solid backed zinkers. Yours is a nice earlier example with some decent silver finish on it, I would have snapped that one up in a heardbeat too.

John, it is very good that you are researching your PABs and other badges BEFORE you buy, that is the smart way to keep your hard earned money in the right place and not get burned on a fake.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                    Hi Juan,

a rare hollow fll pab you picked up.
Can’t see anything wrong with it.

Nice pick up Juan. Looks like a little mis-strike of the die trimmer on the obverse gun area, but not an issue and perfectly normal problem makers had from time to time. Nice silver finish remaining on this uncommon FLL variant.
