    Assmann GABs

    Hi guys,

Here is the Assmann line up that has been almost completed. Still missing the bronze 3 and 4 and need to replace one of the ''steel'' Assmanns with a single cut-out.
IMO one of the more interesting GAB makers. Enjoy the line up.

For each silver Assmann 1-4 there is an early and a later pin variant. The bronze ones appear to only have the later style pin.

    Best regards
    Job

Nice line up Job, certainly many variants with Assmann. Bronze ones are interesting, and certainly a hard task to fine all 4! Good luck my friend.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

          Hi Job

Great line up indeed. So you have all the Assmanns !!

I agree one of the more interesting makers when considering variations.

The IAB line up also reflects the same setups that you mentioned (pin soldered to barrel and just bent pin) on the integral catch variants, plus of course they have the hollow and solid variants with interesting maker marks. Do you collect the IABs as well?

Here is what i believe you refer to as the single cut-out from my collection. Very worn and "been there".

          best regards
          Graeme

              Hi Graeme,

Thank you for the kind words and clarifying the specifics, I was a bit shot with the information there.

Very nice Assmann with the single cut below the swastika. I really like the worn ''Have been there'' look on this piece, has great appeal to it. I had a couple Assmann IAB, but decided some time ago to stick with just GAB and get as many variants as possible.

              Regards
              Job

A beautiful collection of Assman’s Job, I can’t wait to see them complete only a few left to find good luck!
