    interesting DAISY PAB

I just noticed that this Bronze DAISY has a cut out under the gun, it is done from the die and not by hand. Anybody else have anything similiar.

    Regards,

    Anthony

          Anthony,

Could you give the dimensions (including weight) of the bronze one?

          Thanks,

This is my daisy, it has a cutout but not so deep as yours.

                  Hi Anthony,

If possible I would also like to see some close-ups of the bronze one I'm especialy interested in the left side of the turret including the part where it touches the wreath and the eagle. profile shots of the hardware would also be helpfull.

                  Thanks in advance

                  KR

                    Hi Guys,

Here are some answers to your questions. The ( corrected ) height is 60.35 the Silver one in my picture is 60.10 Attached are some pics of the left side, front and back.

I have examined this badge VERY carefully and it meets ALL requirements that I need. IMO, this COULD be an early one with the cutout as mentioned, with manufacturing diffuculties to do this the die may have been altered to form the web under the gun as per my Silver one, just a thought.

                    Regards,

                    Anthony

                        Dear Anthony,
I'm extremely sorry to say this, but in my opinion your badge is a fake. The obverse details are soft and blurry also it is easy to notice the evident casting holes (please check my picture for details). Someone please correct me if i'm wrong...

I'm gonna have to agree with Robert-In fact my first PAB was this style fake Daisy with a wide cut out on left turrent...also it came from Australia!

                          Here's a thread with a more detail

                            Hi Robert,

This reminds me of an old song, I'M BEGINNING TO SEE THE LIGHT, here are some pics of the hardware, see what you think there. I know see lots of these holes on the badge.

                            Regards,
