Unmarker L/10 silver IAB or not ?

I've had a look at a few examples, there seem to be two common sorts with different set ups....none are similar or like this one, the two however are marked with L/10.

The eagles head looks like a Deschler on mine, the claws.....not really like the examples I could find to be honest, close though.

The finish, on this one of mine it's a chrome, shiny look and the scanner on the obverse dulls it down. The reverse is matt in finish and unlike the obverse.

Any ideas on the maker or could it still be a L/10 pattern ?

    Marcus

                reverse of mine.

There are several features on the obeverse on your´s that don´t can be found on mine. Maybe a different version?

                  Hi Hans,

Now there's another version, I'd not seen this one on my searches as such, you've the semi dip's in yours. But the hinge on yours followws with other examples. Also, the claws with other traits follow the design too.

Hi Marcus, very nice IAB. I thought these were being attributed to RK? I could be wrong but I thought these used to be attributed to Duemer, but now are thought to have been made by RK. Anyone else?

                        Hi Marcus

It does not look ike an L/10 to me.

I have marked ones similar to the one Hans showed, and they do come with a variety of catches and hinges. I also have an unmarked version that does not have the semi scooped reverse (I believe it to be an L/10 anyway).

see this thread for pics of it

                        http://www.wehrmacht-awards.net/foru...ght=L%2F10+iab

The reverse profile of my marked and unmarked badges are very similar, much different from the badge you show.

Yours is a nice badge which I think Greg may be spot on with.

                        cheers

                          Marcus,

your IAB has a different design, top right leaf and the rifle differs from the L/10´s.

As said your is credited to RK.

                            Dear Marcus,

Rudolf Karneth is indeed the best and safest assumption for now.
                            Cheers, Frank
