More fuel for the Osang PAB fire

I brought only this badge back from the USA, but I am sure it will generate some interesting discussion.
Let me point out some things:

    -badge is near mint
-finish is also INSIDE the maker mark
-mark corresponds 100% with an original, known Osang mark (e.g. Luftwaffe GAB)
    -measurements are correct
    -weight is correct
    -material correct
-badge has small key features of other origibnal badges of that type (see hairline bow above hinge as an example)

I'm speechless and won't even try to begin to think of an explanation.

I guess this is just more proof of how little we really know when it comes down to how companies worked together

              Dear Philippe,

Maybe we should consider the possibility that Osang is the maker of these PABs? At least we should not exclude it.

I will make this more complicated:

Here is a variation Osang LW GAB with a different setup and a variant maker mark (which I personally believe to be a second type, original Osang maker mark. Compare with the David Gailen Osang logo on a Flak badge Marc just posted). The setup resembles the PAB setup. Badge owned by Herrgeezer.

I'm believer! It makes perfect sense. In my opinion, your PAB Frank is the missing link from the Osang badges family treeā€¦

Something new in the PAB world is popping up on a regular basis it seems. If you collect these beauties you've got to love it! I know that I do.

                        Dear Frank,

Well I don't have my files to consult at the moment nor my so called "juncker LGAB" to compare your pics to but am I correct in believing that the badge you posted indeed is the "so called Juncker" LGAB. Untill now I thought Juncker was a save bet certainly taken in to account the one Juncker marked example Mike P once showed us. However after seeing the PAB, Osang indeed looks like the safe bet.

I should also tell the story of this Osang PAB.
During my vacation in Los Angeles, Sal and me set up a meeting with Steve Wolfe of Wolfe & Hardin. Although he did not know us and must have noticed quite early that we were there to look and not to buy, he was extremely friendly and let us in on every detail we questioned about his fascinating items.
I took all of my courage and pointed out a fake badge in his showroom. After an explanation, he was very thankful and weeded out the item (a hollow GAB). We talked a bit about maker marks and variations and my upcoming book on the GAB.

After a while, I found this PAB among his offerings, turned it around and was amazed to find the Osang mark on it. I told him this and that I would like to buy the item, inquiring about the price (the PAB had no price tag, like all of his items). He thought for two seconds, then gave it to me for free!
                          Cheers, Frank
