Thank you Oleg for the additional info regarding the reverse hardware on you second badge I shure would love to know if the other, the first one posted in this thread, also do have magnetic parts on the reverse.

To further explain my sudden interest in the reverse hardware of these 5 stemmed SH.u.Co´s is that both of my 2 has a magnetic hinge, needle and cath.

This alone proofs, IMHO, that at least the 5 stemmed version zinker co-excisted with the Steel IAB´s by the same maker.

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

      Hello, Hans!
I checked mine first IAB. The hinge and needle are magnetic.

Too bad..... Now my 4 stemmed SHuCo IAB is not at my home. However, I remember the pin is non-magnetic. I think there are non-magnetic parts on my example. How about yours, Hans?

            Indy,

All of my 4 stemmed one´s have non-magnetic reverse hardware. Not one single part of them is magnetic. The only magnetic 4 stemmed i have is the Steel version.

I checked mine. Needle and hinge are both magnetic. The catch is not.

Hans, would you like to exam the catchs again? I mean to release the pins from catchs, and then exam the catchs respectly.

So, we can see there is no magnetic part from 4 stemmed SHuCo IAB, and hing and pin are manetic from 5 stemmed SHuCo IAB for sure.

Indy, it doesn´t change a bit. All mine 4 stemmed is non-magnetic.

Kevin, thanks for posting your badge and the magnetic test result . Your is not a 5 stemmed but a 4 stemmed one. Check the right top leaf and you´ll see there is only 4 (don´t include the long one, the 5 stemmed one´s have a small stem on the long), furthermore your IAB has the typical crosshatching that the 4 stemmed only have on the gunsight at the end of the barrel.

Guess I did not read far enough, 4 stem it is. does go along with the rest of the 4 stems.
                      Thanks,
                      Kevin

                        Hi Hans, as requested.

Both my 4 stem maker marked SHuCos have no magnetic parts.(badge, hinge, catch or pin)

Both my crimped set up SHuCos also have no magnetic parts

My 5 stem hollow SHuCo is completely magnetic (badge, hinge, catch and pin).

As it is a nice one I will try and do a scan later, because I know you love Mrs SHuCo

                        regards

                        Graeme

Thank you very mutch Graeme my friend

This hardware issue turns out to most interesting and more will follow since i have contacted those that i know own one or more SH.u.Co badges.

I wouldn´t call it Love Graeme, more of a mysterious maker that i discovered many members in this forum had their doubt on because of the different variants. Just had to stick my nose in and do some research on them
