    Heer Flak

    Hi,

need some opinions on this one. I have done a search on the forum with out finding a match.

So is it a good or a bad one?

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

That one looks like a Souval repro. Notice how the seller has hidden the part of the catch that would tell you for sure. Who is trying to sell it? They obviously know it is bad.

      Thanks Don,

i thought so at first to but i am not that shure it´s a Souval. The catch is what bothers me, never seen any like this one and nore do i have one in my files.

IMHO that catch does have a slight resamblance to a Souval copy but not an exact match.

The Flak does look similar to one of Lorenzo´s but with a bigger catchplate

Here is a typical Souval post-war catch

Then ask to see better pics of the catch. You are showing two different flaks here. You can't use the second one to say the first one is ok. Different makers.
Look how wide the flat catch is on the first badge. Looks the same as the one on the wound badge to me. The seller is probably trying to hide that fact otherwise why isn't the pin in the catch where it should be?

            Dear Don,

i didn´t say it is a match to Lorenzo´s badge. Just said it looks similar to it...

I have already asked for additional images of the badge in question from the seller. All i can do right now is to wait for them.
