    Bandenkampfabzeichen (APB)

What do you think of this?

I have never seen exactly this type before.

Personally I would say that it is bad. The scratches on the reverse don't look like it is made of zinc also the skull has no 'goggles' which is one of the traits to look for on originals. If there is any doubt then don't buy, these awards are extremely difficult and well faked.

I think it is pretending to be a Junckers. Do a search for APB and Junckers in this forum. You should find a pic of one to compare it to. (God I hope I spelled that correctly so Frank doesn't jump all over me . Oh no, I said "God." I hope I didn't offend anyone)

            Don,

I think you are right about the Juncker part and the fact that the badge is a fake, although I had not seen this fake variant yet.

In my opinion, this is a reproduction, but not of the Juncker pattern.
This is a very old fake pattern that has been around for a very long time
and it is said to be the Rudolf Souval design,
(who of course, did not make originals).
I have seen these with "R.S." on the back.

              Best, Chris

That is a fake based on the Souval copies of the '70s, with better pin fittings. The shape of the skull is a 'dead' giveaway.

Not for me and especially not from that address.

                      Hi Guys

Crappy fake.......the skull looks like it should have bolts in his neck

                      Best,
                      Joe

That is a bad reproduction with lots of errors.

                        Cheers.

At the top of the page there is a search function.

A quick search under "APB" throws out a wealth of information
