    Close Combat Clasp "FLL"

    Could anyone give their opinion on this badge on Gailen Davids website. Looks nice but expensive. I've compared it to the one in Michael F.Tuckers book and looks good. Probably is good, but need to be sure. Is this type normally vaulted? Is the price okay? Sorry, but I don't know how to import the pictures over to the forum.

    BD2901 SCARCE VAULTED "FLL" MARKED SILVER CLOSE COMBAT CLASP. VERY NICE VAULTED EXAMPLE WITH MOST OF SILVER FINISH REMAINING. VERY HARD TO FIND THIS TYPE BADGE. EXC.+. $550

      Weedy (not even gonna ask about that name!),

      The FLL looks good to me also. I have one very similar to it. It seems as if the FLLs do have more vault that other CCC makers. The one Gailen shows is the later (2nd) style FLL. In EXC condition, and in silver, and with backing plate...

      Go for it. They most likely ain't gonna get any cheaper.
