    CCC opinions please.

    Hi All,
    Would like your opinions on this badge, Makers mark FLL, could be silver grade, could this be an early first type made badge? As the badge is well worn and if silver would a price of $210.00 be a reasonable price?

      Hi,
      beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally like worn/beaten up badges, crazy as it sounds.
      Looks silver IMO too, and also original. Maybe the price is a little high on this, but also 'price is in the pocket of the beholder' ho ho.
      I managed to pick up a worn/zinc/silver ccc last year for around 150...
      as your head's working in pounds or euros, surely anything in dollars is a steal!

        IMO the price is good. You hardly get a bronze one for that money.

              OK I've had a quick look round the dealer sites, and you are all correct, and I'm way out of date on these!
              I think I was crazy lucky to find one for 150 last year

                          For me... and i repeat FOR ME... it's really good but... i don't like the back plate.

                          May be a flash result? Strange aging of metal?

                              Its a good, original, well worn clasp. Like Viva says, backplate looks kinda suspicious but it may be just the photo, or effects of cleaning. Price seems OK for such a clasp.
