CCC question ?

I saw this one recently and I was wondering => I have never seen this type of catch for a AGMuK badge ? ( it looks like a catch normally found on the JFS CCC products ) as the name of this firm suggest " Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metal und Kunststof " it would be possible that some of the producers out of Gablonz worked togheter to forfill the demand, etc .... , is this a original CCC or just another fake ?

Well Stijn IMO this is another fake. Have a look at the picture below. The catch is broken off, but you can still see that it's the same one on your piture. Also compare the pin. Look at the position of the text, etc...
Doesn't look good to me.
But it exist. I can't tell you more.

AGMuKs have been discussed before. I definitely wouldn't write this one off solely because the catch is wide. As far as I know, genuine AGMuKs can be found with both roundwire and flatwire catches, fluted and non-fluted main pins and large and small writing. There are also several different methods of attaching the backplate. From what I can see of Stijn's images, everything looks OK on this particular example to me, including the way the backplate is attached and the general finish on the badge. Obviously a hand examination may reveal something to the contrary.

Mike, Im also of the opinion that this is a very nicely made CCC clasp => looking at the reverse, etc ... it is so nicely finished, etc ...

Are there collectors out tehre that have a exact type of AGMuK CCC that they can share pictures of and other opinions regarding original versus fake are welcome ?

Gablonz CCC

I have been browing through teh old threads regarding A.G.M.u.K. made CCC and I have found the answer towards my question, in one of the old threads there are clasps shown from one of Detlev's fake versus real comparisons and im pretty confident that the above shown piece is a period original CCC clasp .

Regarding the AGMuK firm or cooperation => is there anyone who knows wich medal producers from Gablonz where involved in this working togheter ? , Im pretty sure when looking at the C catch that the firm of Josef Feix Sohn ( JFS ) was involved , are there other names also known ? .
