    Reconstruction to "Biedermann & Co". If you check the list of all known makers, no other one can be a perfect match. So the packet is 100% identified. The GAB MIGHT have belonged to that packet too. Let's keep it in mind.

              Thanks for the research on this badge. That dished variant for sure was a first one for me too but as you know the unique design of this GAB of course wasn't. Am I correct in believing that this rather uncommon GAB design was the role model used to make the notorious Assmann screwback- and JFS marked GAB's?.

                Yes, that is correct. Both these fakes you named are based on this original design.
