ASA unknown maker period finish?

Hi my friends!
Here is the ASA (I think unknown maker 8 about heukemes book)
I hesitate about the finish. (color, surface)
Please help me with your opinion

This is indeed one of the unknown makers of the GAB. It is a bit pitted but I think the photos don't do this piece much justice. In mint condition these badges just look like fake pieces that were made yesterday… this shows how could the finish is.

I found a small hoard find of these pieces a while ago in Lüdenscheid with many other B&NL, Hymmen, F&BL and S&L pieces. It's a long shot but I would like to find some proof that F&BL could have made these badges.

I would still like to see some photos in better light of this badge.

Can only agree with Giel. This is most likely a very late war production that Giel linked to F&BL. Design, setup and finish wise these are an exact match with other F&BL pieces.

Also their close connection to the ''Cupal maker'' makes these very interesting.

There is lots of different finishes found on this badge, everything from this type of chrome finish to copper coated.
Some extra pictures would be nice to confirm our thoughts.

I also think the finish on this one is fine. It is thick, but that is not too uncommon with F&BL badges and makes the connection to this maker very strong in my opinion. When you look at F&BL IABs and silver CCCs, etc. you find the exact same finish.

A nice original IMO.
