    CCC anti-partisan

    Guys i was reading about CCC and i read that the ccc was awarded to soldiers who were fighting against the Partisans and the criteria to earn the clasp is 15 days for bronze , 30 for silver and 50 for gold , so my question is this criteria was applied to the anti-partisan soldiers?

    in 1944 the anti-partisan badge was initiated with Criteria 20 combat days for Bronze,50 for silver , 150 for Gold .

    so in this case if soldier won the ccc in gold before 1944 for fighting Partisans is he eligible to get the gold anti-partisan badge also ?

      The APB and CCC where awards both for combat but not the same type of combat. The APB was awarded for actions against Partisans and Guerrillas. This could include a host of things from searching villages, brutial interrogations, executions and operations against suspected partisan held areas. The main thing is the action focused against Partisans. It is no doubt that most Soldiers in the Wehrmacht would have preference never to have gotten the APB and would have chosen the CCC instead, but it isn't allowed. The CCC was to show experience and aggressiveness in combat against enemy soldiers. The CCC was to act as the Infantryman's numbered badge. As said you have your badges mixed up.

          This is absolutely wrong. Nothing of all that is included in the award regulation.
          This was a "bravery and achievement decoration" as written in the regulation.
          The criteria clearly tell only about "close combat with the enemy (man to man)" (infantry) or "direct fighting with partisans" (heavy weapons units).
