IAB Missing Pin Real?

I recently bought this IAB on impulse, the badge is missing the pin. Is the badge genuine? If so is there a way to determine the maker?

Thank for the information guys! I can post better pictures as soon as I get home. I paid $25USD for it. How can you tell the maker is FFL?
