close combat clasp in gold

Hi guys any opinion regarding this gold clasp it’s real or fake

While the gold finish itself looks acceptable, the backplate wear is odd. It is worn in weird places that you normally don't see wear, in particular on the front inside the central motif the black is worn off which is very odd. Also odd is that the backplate itself appears to be gold under the finish. That is not the typical color of AGMuK backplates. All this makes me quite certain that the entire badge was dipped in gold finish, then there was an attempt to repaint the backplate black, but it didn't take well and is coming off rather easily.

Not a clasp I would want in my collection based on these suspicions.
