IAB unmarked authentic or not?

Hi everyone,

Bought this 7 years ago at a local show as original when started collecting TR militaria. Could you take a look if it 's period and id the maker or just another high quality fake to fool uninformed collectors.

It is always worth keeping fakes for comparison to original badges and to see their different metals and construction.
