Tom certainly knows his subject.I have an unmarked Gold Nahkampfspange which I was told was a well made copy when I first acquired it and Tom kindly pointed out it was an original.

Can you take some better pictures of the front and the edges? Usually gold FLL clasps will retain the finish to the metal on the pin assembly which looks at best silver in these pictures. It’s possible the obverse has had some refinish and this is not actually a gold grade. The clasp itself is of course genuine but the non gilded reverse set up is concerning.

Gorgeous original FLL clasp, very nice. By all means show so more pics of this one, try some different light as that can really affect how the finish looks but this one is right as rain. The lemony yellow gilded DI sih is exactly what you want to see with FLL products.

A rare original gold clasp in a sea of fakes, congrats on a very nice addition my friend.
