    Panzerkampfabzeichen in silver, Wurster.

I recently added this solid zinc small "W" Wurster PAB to my collection.
It still retains most of it's silver frosting and burnished highlights.
Unfortunately, this one is missing the catch.
    Ralph.

Sadly the catch has been broken, despite that the badge is in excellent condition.
    Great detail and finish left.

      Ralph,
Shame about the catch. For a missive zincer it does have a good amount of finish remaining.

      Zinc stinks!

        I thought so as well.

          Thanks Chet!
This is also one of the lesser seen examples that exhibits the second small "W" on the reverse above the catch.

              Hi Ralph,

Great pick up, even with the missing catch. The small imprinted "W" on the rear above the catch is quite a rare to find variant and this one has alot of great silver finish remaining. Beauty!

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Really a beautiful example, particularly when it comes to the remaining finish.

Is this a common finish type for the silver class from this particular maker? My badge resembles this more, though I’ve seen ones that appear „flat silver“ in comparison.
